My Journey as a Pharmacy Student From Start to End
Assalam-O-Alaikum, My Dear Friends this is the first website in Pakistan. You can gain all Medical knowledge and Books that are not available on Google. Plus internships and other opportunities especially for our pharmacy students.
My First Year of Pharmacy
My Journey was started not as a Pharmacy Student but as a physiotherapist, later on I choose Pharm.D which is called Doctor of Pharmacy.(5 year Medical Program)
In this field, you learn arts of making medicines and providing relevant information to the public. Unfortunately, we didn't have much scope in other fields as compared to MBBS and BDS. So, based on less investment and category I choose Pharm.D.
Things to Know before getting admission
Always make sure that you should take admission in Institute that are HEC affiliated or Affiliated with Government.
Next step is to find Financial assistance or scholarship so that you can reduce your expenses.
Take Part in different co-curricular activity so you will be aware of know how of Current affairs
Second Year (Internship Opportunities)
As I am a student of Lahore. So based on that knowledge i will tell you that when you get eligible for Internship letter after 2nd year and a half. Always get internship opportunity because pharmacy student have no house job criteria and no experience after degree. So in between that must do this.
Where to Find Internship Opportunity
Must work in Government Hospital. Children Hospital Lahore will give you the opportunity to do internship. It will cost you 5000rs but you will deposit that in their Hospital Funds so don't need to worry. You can also do internship in Servaid and Clinix but must have a reference. But in Servaid you have more chances without reference if you try there. On industrial area there is no concept of internship. They will directly give you jobs.But there are some internship programs offering in Lahore and Karachi like GETZ PHARMA, GENETICS, PHARMASOL, CITI PHARMA, BOSCH, WILSHIRE.
FINAL YEAR MOST IMPORTANT
In final year, Always try to get at least 2 articles published so that you can easily have the scholarship opportunity in foreign countries like Canada and other European countries.

My Experience in Pharmaceutical Industry (Knowledge for young Pharmacy Students): What is an Industry: Actually Industry is the place where manufacturing of some products takes place. It can either be a plastic material factory or a pharmaceutical based industry. Difference Between Industry Pharmaceutical or Nutraceutical: There are two types of Industries. 1) In Pharmaceutical Industries, manufacturing of allopathic medicines takes place. 2) In Nutraceutical Industries, manufacturing of multivitamins tablets takes place. Multivitamin are not recommended for the treatment of any disease. Which is more better Nutra or Pharma: In Pharma, you will get more exposure to medicines and their manufacturing for example some industry made variety of dosage form like capsule, tablets, syrups etc. Whereas in Nutra, there are less dosage form and less exposure to production.
